General Characteristics of Wheat-
Wheat shall:
a) be the dried mature grains of Triticum Vulgare, T. compactum, T. Sphaerococcum, T. durum, T. aestivum and L dicoccum.
b) have natural size, shape, colour and lustre.
c) be sweet, clean, wholesome and free from obnoxious smell, discolouration, an admixture of deleterious substances including toxic weed seeds and all other impurities except to the extent indicated in the schedule below.
d) be in a sound merchantable condition.
e) not have any admixture of Argemone mexicana and Lathyrus sativus (khesari) in any form, colouring matter and any obnoxious, deleterious and toxic material.
Method of Analysis of Wheat-
As given in Bureau of Indian Standard No. IS. 4333 (Part I and II) 1967 and as amended from time to time except for weevilled grains which are to be determined by the count method.

PACKING & SHIPPING DETAILS for Supply of Indian Wheat by A-1 Overseas for Supplying Wheat:
Packing: in 1kg, 5kg 10kg 25kg, 50 kg, 1MT Jumbo pp bags or Bulk Packing as per customer’s requirements. Private labeling can also be provided.
Loading instruments: In containers or Bulk vessels as per the requirements.
Load Ability: 22 to 24 MT in a 20 Feet Container [Containerized Loading for Small Qty] and for break-bulk, full-vessel load the quantities should be in the multiple of thousand metric tons.
Minimum Order Quantity: 1 x 20 FCL
For Bulk Vessel Loading:
12,500 MT as a minimum quantity can be considered.
but we can work out the break-bulk shipment for the smaller quantities in the multiples of 1000 MT.
Shipping Term: FOB, CFR, CIF as per Incoterms 2010
Port of Loading: Any relevant sea-port in India or in the sourcing countries
Port of Destination: to any seaport required by the customers
Inspection: The buyer may appoint their own inspection agency. At the loading port before shipment by SGS or any Equivalent Inspection Agency. The Loading port inspection report is final and binding for both Buyer and Seller. Inspection at the discharge port will not be considered else the buyer should consider the FOB shipping term.
Payment: 100 % Irrevocable Confirmed Transferable/Non-Transferable Letter of Credit payable at Sight from any one of the top 25 World Banks. T.T. (MT 103).
Lead Time: It will be within 15/20 days from the date of receipt of confirmed payment from the buyers/importers. For the larger quantities, it will be decided by mutual understanding.
What Are Food Grains?
Food-Grains meant for human consumption shall be whole or broken kernels of cereals, millets, and pulses.
They shall be free from added coloring matter.
In addition to the undermentioned standards to which foodgrains shall conform, they shall be free from Argemone, Maxicana and Kesari in any form.
The foodgrains shall not contain any insecticide residues other than those specified in regulation 2.3.1 of Food Safety and Standards (Contaminants, Toxins, and Residues) Regulation, 2011.
The amount of insecticide residue in the foodgrains shall not exceed the limits specified in Regulation 2.3.1. of the said Table Food Safety and Standards (Contaminants, Toxins, and Residues) Regulation, 2011.
The foodgrains meant for grinding/processing shall be clean, free from all impurities including foreign matter (extraneous matter).
WHAT IS FEED WHEAT? WHAT IS ANIMAL FEED WHEAT? WHAT IS POULTRY OR CATTLE FEED WHEAT?
Feed Wheat is very low-quality, grade wheat and it is used for animal consumption.
Feed wheat is less palatable and has less nutritional value than good-quality wheat.
Being low-quality, grade wheat, it is unsuitable for milling purposes, because of damage by disease- insects & frost, and hence it can be fed to domestic animals.
It will obviously be worth less than good quality wheat, with its exact value depends on the extent of the damage.
